The historic setting of the school is undoubtedly a source of inspiration, but it is the quality of teaching and learning we establish that is the true influence on our pupils’ achievement. We meet the demands of today’s curriculum, nurturing and developing enthusiasm and commitment to success. This is very firmly within a framework of care, and a passion for meeting each need and fulfilling each child’s potential.

It is the needs of the whole child that concern us – their confidence is enhanced by having the opportunity to explore and excel in a rich variety of activities. They range from gymnastics, dance and Games, to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and a plethora of educational visits; these include visits to France, and team-building and adventure through PGL.
